On November 6, 2016, Lava Lamp announced that Yumi would close down on December 31, 2016 and be replaced with a new channel centering around crime and mystery-related programming titled Holmes. However, on February 2, 2017, Holmes and CER2 Crime were annonunced to become Cloo, after Laserium-GBC Networks and Lava Lamp Entertainment acquired the brand, trademarks and name from NBCUniversal Cable.
