On October 1, 1972, X-Y debuted as a broadcast network worldwide via satellite by The MickeyFTWDWReadFTL Company. The network planned to attract both male and female audiences, and mainly focused on soap operas, sitcoms, animation, talk shows, comedy shows, and action shows.

2000-present[]

X-Y Etch-A-Sketch logo

On January 1, 2000, X-Y debuted the iconic "Etch-a-Sketch" logo, with rebranding produced by Stuntronics.
