Ultra FM (formerly known as CNN-Motorfan Radio and Dengeki FM) is an anime drama radio and CHR radio network (previously news and talk radio) based in Tokyo, Japan, and later, Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and India. Launched in 1981, the purpose of station was to play Japanese automotive reviews and short news updates. After CNN-Motorfan Radio rebranded into Dengeki FM and change its format in 1993, the purpose of station was to play not only automotive reviews and short news updates, but pop music, EDM music, anime character songs, tokusatsu character songs, K-POP songs, C-POP songs, Thai soft songs, 80s rock music, 90s rap music, nighttime adult contemporary songs, the radio drama adaptations of the Dengeki Bunko light novels, and tokusatsu programs with their target audience being teenagers and young adults. Ultra FM is known as a teen icon in worldwide since 1993. It is owned and operated by ASCII Media Works, Houbunsha, Cartoon Network Studios, and Warner Bros. In 2022, Ultra FM was renamed as Warner Z.

In 1981, CNN-Motorfan was launched in Tokyo with the 88.4 frequency. The format was the news, talk, and automotive review radio station. The jingles are self-produced until 1984.
1984-1993[]
In 1984, JAM Creative Productions' "The #1 Voice in Washington" Package (which was used for WMAL Washington and Smart FM Indonesia) was used until 1990. In 1990, JAM's "The Spirit of New England" Package (which was used for WBZ Boston, WBAP North Texas, WRUF Florida, Great North Radio UK, Catholic Media Network Philippines, and Smart FM Indonesia) and "Talk to Us" Pakcage (which was used for WABC New York and Smart FM Indonesia) were used until 1993, before rebranded into Dengeki FM and changed the format into contemporary hit radio, drama radio based on anime, and automotive review.

Jam Productions' 102.7 KIIS FM packages (Hot KIIS, Fresh KIIS, KIIS/90, and Outstanding) (which was also used for 102.3 Prambors FM Jakarta) was used for the jingles until 2000. In 2000, TM Century's KIIS FM packages (that were used for 100.5 WTCF Carrolton and OZ Radio Bandung) were used until 2003. One year after a former radio announcer Ai Hoshino's death, Dengeki FM rebranded into Ultra FM and not just airing in Tokyo, but Seoul with 107.9 FM, Beijing with 104.5 FM, New Delhi with 105 FM, Jakarta with 100.3 FM, Singapore with 99.1 FM, Kuala Lumpur with 90 FM, Bangkok with 106.4 FM, Manila with 95.8 FM, Hanoi with 101 FM, and Eastern Sydney in 99.9 FM. ReelWorld Triple Kiss 2013 package (KIIS FM version, which was used for 92.3 NBS FM Sukabumi, Fly FM Malaysia, Yes the Best 101.1 Manila, Beat 102 103 Ireland, WBEB B101 Philadelphia) was used until 2019. In 2019, ReelWorld KIIS FM 2018 package (which was used for WMME 92 Moose Central Maine, 96.9 KISS FM Amarillo, WKHQ 106 Michigan, 77.8 ZIP FM Nagoya, 93.4 C Radio Semarang, 106.9 Bali United FM Bali, 104.6 RTL Berlin, 107.5 Power Hit Radio Stockholm) was used for jingles and sung by Japanese anime seiyuus (Japan-exclusive) and Reelworld (Global-exclusive). Ultra FM rebranded into Warner Z. The ReelWorld KIIS FM 2015 package (which was also used for 107.5 WKZL FM Winstom-Salem, 96.1 Now KXXM San Antonio, Radio Isa France, 93.4 Radio Fantasy Augsburg, 77.8 ZIP-FM Nagoya, and 88.7 Onix Radio Balikpapan, Fun 107 South Coast) was used for the jingles until 2024. Theme 2 for automobile reviews, isekai, and fantasy programs, Theme 3 for generic drama anime radio, Theme 4 for news updates, action, psychological thriller, suspense thriller, sci-fi, and superhero fiction programs, and Theme 8 for music, romantic, comedy, and slice of life programs. Also, the Reelworld One AC Christmas holiday jingle package (which was also used for 93.9 WLIT Chicago, Mix 92.9 WJXA Nashville, 106.7 WLTW Lite FM New York, Sunny 99.1 KODA Houston, 100.3 WNIC Detroit, and Sunny 97.7 WSNI New Hampshire) was used for Christmas month. The jingles are sung by all Japanese anime voice actors in Japan, all K-POP artists in Korea, and sung by Reelworld in the rest of the selected regions. In 2024, The ReelWorld KIIS FM 2020 package (which was used for 96.9 KISS FM Amarillo, KISS FM France, 106.3 Urban FM Bandung, Fly FM Malaysia, 107.5 Power Hit Radio Stockholm) and the ReelWorld KIIS FM 2022 package are used for the jingles. For KIIS FM 2020 version, it was available in winter and spring and using Top of Hour 01 as the music programs, romantic-comedy drama anime radio programs-related jingle, and Top of Hour 02 as the short news updates, automotive reviews, action, and thriller programs-related jingle. The winter and spring jingles are sung by Akari Kitō in Japan, and by Reelworld in the rest of the selected regions. For KIIS FM 2022 version, it was available in summer and autumn and using Theme 1 to 12. In Japan, the Theme 1 was sung by Maaya Uchida, the Theme 2 was sung by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, the Theme 3 was sung by Tasuku Hatanaka, the Theme 4 was sung by Rie Takahashi, the Theme 5 was sung by Akari Kito, the Theme 6 was sung by Yuichi Nakamura, the Theme 7 was sung by Nakanoke no Itsutsugo (Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Ito, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase), the Theme 8 was sung by Ryota Osaka, the Theme 9 was sung by Shoya Chiba, the Theme 10 was sung by Aki Toyosaki, the Theme 11 was sung by Megumi Han, and the Theme 12 was sung by Kensho Ono. In the rest of the selected Asia and Oceania regions, the 12 themes are sung by Reelworld. Warner Z also will be available in London with 92.8 FM frequency, Frankfurt with 98.7 FM frequency, and Los Angeles with 93.5 FM frequency (with a KXWZ-FM call sign, as a part of iHeartMedia radio station) in 2025.
