WWSR-TV is a commercial-free television station licensed to and located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with the ad-supported preschool channel Sprout. It broadcasts on channel 63, and is owned by WWSR-TV Partnership, a joint venture between Viacom Media Networks and NBCUniversal, which also owns WCAU-TV. Originally the station, which began broadcasting in 1977, was a independent station until 1988 and Nick Jr until 2005, and it was also owned by Williams Broadcasting, which also owns WKFC-TV (channel 46) in Grand Rapids and other stations across the nation, until 1988, and Nick Jr Television Stations until 2005 of which a 50/50 joint venture of Viacom and NBC purchased the station and became affiliated with Sprout.

1977-1986

It was based on the early 1980's Star TV logo, but instead of "TV", it read "63"

1986-1997

It was based on the 1990 WSTR-TV logo, but instead of "64" and "WSTR-TV", it read "63" and "WWSR-TV", the logo continued when WWSR-TV becomes a Nick Jr affiliate in 1988.

1997-2003

It was based on the 1996 KPTV logo, but instead of the state of Oregon, it has the state of Pennsylvania which inside the channel number "63".

2003-2005

It was based on the 1998 KCOP-TV logo.

2005-2013

It was based on the PBS Kids Sprout logo, but added the channel number next to the logo, and the call letters at the bottom.

2013-present

It was based on the Sprout logo, but added the call letters and channel number at the bottom.
