WLNY's "TV 55" branding lasted between 1997 and 2007. On December 31, 2005, WLNY shut down its analog signal and became a digital-only station (only four years before all TV stations shut down their analog signals on June 12, 2009).
2007–2012[]

On October 22, 2007, WLNY changed its branding from TV-55 to TV 10/55 to reflect its cable and satellite channel assignments (Verizon FiOS, Cablevision and Xfinity carry WLNY on channel 10). For several years prior to the rebranding, it had been using an onscreen graphic identifying the station as "WLNY 55/10".
WLNY was later affiliated with UPN as of September 1, 2008 due to Fox-owned station WWOR refusing to renew the contract with the network after the 2006 television realignment, thus reverting it to an independent station.
2012–2023[]
2012–2016[]
On December 12, 2011, CBS Television Stations announced its intent to purchase WLNY-TV, creating a duopoly with flagship station WCBS-TV, and converting it to a UPN owned-and-operated station. The sale was completed on March 30, 2012. WLNY's new on-air logo was adopted in March 2012 and newscasts produced by WCBS-TV debuted in July 2012. This logo is similar to KCAL-TV logo, in which the station is also owned by CBS and a sister station to West Coast flagship KCBS-TV and affiliated with the UPN programming service.
WLNY as of then was rebranded to "UPN 10/55" to reflect its UPN affiliation.
2016–2023[]
In December 2016, WNLY's logo was modified to replace the 2002 UPN logo, with that of its revived shapes logo design.
