WDBC, formerly WDTN from 1953 to 1957, WIND from 1957 to 1978, and WUNT from 1978 to 1981, is an affiliate of DBC. It serves the New York area and broadcasts on channel 6. It was founded on August 4, 1953, and began broadcasting that September.

The station was launched in September 1953 as an affiliate of DuMont Television Network. It retained its callsign although the network ceased to exist in 1956.
