WBM-TV is a CW affiliate for Bangor, Maine that used to be affiliated with UPN, before that, they were independent. It signed on in September 1979 on channel 59. Its MyNetworkTV affiliation, built in 2007, is on 59.2. The station is owned and operated by WFXM Partnership Inc, and until October 2016, KIVO Television Group.


The station was branded as "59 STRONG" and the identity was Scanimated.


The "59 STRONG" campaign continued, this time using CGI.


"59 STRONG" was replaced by "WBM 59" along with the new look.


Still used "WBM 59" but on newscasts, the open was updated slightly in 1991 to "NewsChannel 59".


Same as before, but the shades of blue in the logo is replaced by red and yellow, but some of the blue remains.


The identity became "UPN59" upon the UPN network's launch.


New graphics package using silver UPN logo.


Along with UPN's new look, a new logo and graphics package was introduced for the station.

2006-present (CW)
