UWN Retro is a speciality channel owned by the United World Media subsidiary of CPN Holdings. It airs archival content from the UWN, Premiere Holdings, ATV, ICHC, and Qualis libraries, it also airs movies from the 50s to 70s.
The Humor Channel[]
1992-1997[]
In 1992, The Humor Channel would launch. It is initially owned by Premiere Holdings, The Walt Disney Company, and comedian Theodore Disney (who is related to businessman and founder of the Walt Disney Company, Walter Elias Disney. The channel aired classic comedy shows as well as various children shows in the morning hours. In 1996, The Walt Disney Company and Theodore Disney would sell their stakes in the network to Premiere Holdings, making it a sister network to The Sitcom Channel.
THC[]
1997-2003[]
In order to differentiate the two networks, The Humor Channel decided to become a classic movie oriented network with some old programs from the CubenRocks library in the mix.
2003-2011[]
2011-2018[]
CubenRocks Retro[]
2018-2020[]
In 2018, THC would change its name to CubenRocks Retro, fitting in line with other CubenRocks thematic networks.
