That logo was utilized a rainbow flower symbolizing the bloom of color television in the United States. It wasn’t used as final, and the face logo which to symbolize the viewership was unchanged.

The aforementioned logo was similar to the defunct Brazilian television channel TV Tupi.
On March 26, 2004, they were planning for a new branding, it was later rejected due to the copyright infringement by its original owner Diario Associados, so they retained the previous look.
The logo was first teased on April 17, 2016 and took effect on August 29, 2016, produced by Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services (now Red Bee Creative), also produced and created identities for BBC Three and CBBC at the same year.
