Production funding is from the Canada Media Fund and the Shaw Rocket Fund.
The four main characters of Grojband do not appear in this show (but the characters mentioned in several episodes), but only Carrie, Lenny, Kim, Konnie, Mina and others.
That show is similar to Sidekick, Spliced, Pearlie, Ruby Gloom, Wayside, Willa's Wild Life, Scaredy Squirrel, Iggy Arbuckle, Grojband, Carl Squared, Supernoobs, Looped, Freaktown, Total Drama, What About Mimi?, Freaktown, Being Ian, Jacob Two-Two, Rescue Heroes, Babar, Little Bear, Franklin, Stickin' Around, Grossology, My Friend Rabbit, Pecola, Kid vs. Kat, Babar and the Adventures of Badou, The Backyardigans and various Canadian animated shows.
This show was created by Todd Kauffman, Mark Thornton and David Hemingson.
The theme song is composed by William Kevin Anderson.
This is the second time the Newmans have their new voices in the Grojband series. The first one being the revival show.
Here are the voices of Carrie and the Kagami twins:
Carrie is voiced by Denise Oliver doing a punk-like voice.
Kim is voiced by Tajja Isen and she sounds similar of Pony Tail, Jazzi and Betty Barrett's voices.
Konnie is voiced by Stephanie Anne Mills and she sounds similar of Lindsay and Vana Glama's voices.
In this series, the Newmans could have is not writing lyrics but finding the right inspiration for them like whatever adventure they had they could gather information together and create a song.
Only Fresh TV, Hemingson Entertainment, Nelvana Limited and Warner Bros. Television have its closing logos shown.
The FremantleMedia North America logo doesn't appear in the closing logos, only using the ending credits with its production name which says "Distributed by FremantleMedia North America".
FremantleMedia serves as a television distribution for this show.
The episodes are directed by Joey So.
Stacey DePass serves as voice director and executive producer.
The voices are recorded in Toronto and Los Angeles.
Additional voices by Alyson Court, Graeme Cornies, Gage Munroe, Addison Holley, Madelyn May, Kedar Brown, Dwayne Hill, Julie Lemieux, Rob Tinkler, Christian Potenza, Stacey DePass, Barbara Mamabolo, Sarah Gadon, Emily Hampshire, Scott McCord, Tabitha St. Germain, Tara Strong, Marieve Herington, Stephanie Beard, Jordan Todosey, Krystal Meadows, Sergio Di Zio, Matt Hill and Terry McGurrin.
Lenny revealed that his name is not Larry.
At the end of each episode of the show, Carrie would say "Thanks for watching!".
Due to the show is produced by Warner Bros. Television, it is not animated by Warner Bros. Animation.
Mina should be in lots of their episodes and we should see more interactions with her sister Carrie. Also in this show she should stand up to Trina and teach her some respect.
However in later episodes, Mina wanted to be mean (like her friend Trina) to Carrie and her band and she went into Diary Mode in the show, just like on the Grojband episode "A Knight to Remember".
