The Game Boy lineup of Tengen games are unlicensed games created by Tengen and it was unlicensed by Nintendo between 1989 and 1994. In the December of 1993, Sega of America filed a lawsuit against Tengen filing it claimed their own versions of games for three unlicensed Nintendo systems, NES, Game Boy, and SNES.
