Television Yamato Washū is an fictional television in Nara Prefecture, Japan. It start broadcast on December 1, 1962, one year before the Premiered of NSB.

In 1992, the NSB Station Operations and Management Board decided that Hokkaido, Akita, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Shizuoka, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Nagasaki and Okinawa stations will remain to be the main stations.

In late 1994, the NSB Station Operations and Management Board decided that they want to merge stations in Kansai region to one, therefore causing the aforementioned results. TYW ceased broadcasting on February 28, 1995, and merged to form Kinki Television.
