Television Kii is a television station in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. It began broadcasting in 1962, one year before the launch of NSB.

In 1992, the NSB Station Operations and Management Board decided that Hokkaido, Akita, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Shizuoka, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Nagasaki and Okinawa stations will remain to be the main stations.

However, in 1994 It filed for bankruptcy due to financial controversy and in late 1994, the NSB Station Operations and Management Board decided that they want to merge stations in Kansai region into one, therefore causing the aforementioned results. TVK ceased broadcasting on February 28, 1995, and merge to form Kinki Television.
