Channel V Brasil was defunct in December 5, 2020.
On March 3, 2022, ComMedia with joint venture Grupo Abril and Disney Networks Group took 50% of Channel V to ComMedia with 46% remaining to Abril & Disney as the remainder for the relaunch of Channel V. This continued until March 29, 2022, when Abril & Disney announced a gradual separation from Channel V to focus more on their properties, making ComMedia the absolute 96% holder of Channel V.

On April 3, 2022, Grupo Abril & Disney officially announced their total separation on Channel V, making ComMedia the total owner of 100% of Channel V (while DIsney still owned the brand), which shortly after April 7 became part of RedeCom which is owned and operated under channel owner TVCB.
At the same time after becoming part of TVCB, Brazil's Channel V officially changed as a millennial television variety of music, challenges, sports and other millennial events under a new name as TVCB 3, the station owned by RedeCom under the owner and operated TVCB.
2022-present[]
The drop in ratings that occurred at TVCB 3 was confirmed by its logo which was not accepted by everyone. Joko Rio and Jonaten Zimbabwe started designing the new logo and it was officially launched on April 23, 2022, which was the first time the new TVCB logo was released.
