Fox Movies rebranded back to Star Movies on October 1st 2021 which means the Star Movies brand in Singala returned after the channel was closed at 1st January 2012 at 00:00 UTC, also the reason is part of establishing the Star brand outside India and Disney Southeast Asia's pay TV closure (exception for Singala).

Along with Star Action and Star World, these channels were rebranded to match their Middle Eastern counterparts.
