1980-1990, 1983-1990 (on-screen)
South TV1 launched on May 1, 1980 as TV South. However, the network did not broadcast nationwide until May 2, 1981, as it was restricted to Guy City because it didn't have a license until September 1980, which validates the right to broadcast nationwide. However the logo didn't appear on screen until 1983.
The launch of South TV2 brought needs to change the S into an 1, while keeping the logo's color and structure. This was launched on midnight between December 31, 1990 and January 1, 1991.
At 6pm on September 8, 1997, South TV3 changed its logo, as South TV1 and 2 swapped colors. The logo would be represented by a stylish bird "carrying the number 1", which is still used.
On November 26, 2017, South TV1 revealed the perhaps biggest logo change in its history, set to debut on January 1, 2018 just after the end of the New Year's Eve special.
