Sony Roadshow Productions, formerly Columbia TriStar-Village Roadshow Productions, is a joint-venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and Village Roadshow Limited, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment (48%), Village Roadshow Limited (48%), and SammyWorks (4%), which was founded in 1995 (10 years after SammyWorks got established).
In 2014, the day before SammyWorks turned into FlowerWorks (and before SW changed it's name a year later), the predeccessor company closed down and became Sony Roadshow Productions and still owned by the same companies.
