In July 2015, Sky Network Indonesia and TransMedia announced the launch of Sky Nature, a new channel that focuses on the environment, science, history and nature. Sky Nature was launched to coincide with Trans Media's birthday on 15 December 2015, while the HD simulcast broadcast only took place in May 2016.
