Ship Sail (船帆 Fune Ho) began TV broadcasts in Japan. Its headquarters are located in Tokyo.

1985-1991

On April 25, 1985, RKO General purchased a 83% stake in Ship Sail after closing down the Japanese version of RKO International Asia and Ship Sail was forced to adopt its version of the RKO Network logo and idents. On October 1, 1985, RKO General acquired 100% of the network.
