In 1989, the USA version of TV4 is launched as a joint venture between SVT and RKO.

In 1996, the USA version of TV4 was replaced by the USA version of SVT4.'

In 1997, the USA version of SVT4 was replaced by the USA version of SVT Europa.

In 2009, the USA version of SVT Europa was replaced by the USA version of SVT World.
