STAR Sonic FM is an anime drama radio and CHR radio network based in Tokyo, Japan, and later, Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and India. Launched in 2002, the purpose of station was to play pop music, anime character songs, K-POP songs, C-POP songs, and the radio drama adaptation of the MF Bunko J light novels with their target audience being teenagers and young adults. It is owned and operated by Media Factory and STAR TV Network.

2002-2009[]
STAR Sonic FM was launched in 25th July 2002, the same day that MF Bunko J launched and its partnership with STAR TV Network. The Jam Productions' Z World jingle package (which was used for WHTZ Z100 New York, Jovem Pan Brazil, 102.3 FMania Jakarta, 92.6 Super FM Tegal) was used for the jingles until 2006. In 2006, ReelWorld WXKS Kiss 108 2003 jingle package (which was used for Ardan Radio Bandung, 107.5 Music City FM Jakarta, Radio Aire Leeds) was used until 2009.
2009-2012[]
In this introduction of the 2009 new logo, Reelworld WXKS Kiss 108 2006 jingle package (which was used for Ardan Radio Bandung) was used for the jingles.
2012-2022[]
In this introduction of the 2012 new logo, Reelworld Radio 538 Hilversum jingle package (which was used for FM104 Dublin and Ardan Radio Bandung) was used for the jingles.
2017-2022[]
STAR Sonic FM's 2012 logo is refreshed and Reelworld WBBM B96 Chicago jingle package (which was used for Love Radio Manila and Virgin Radio Jakarta) was used for the jingles.

In this introduction of the 2022 new logo, Reelworld WZPL Indianapolis 2020 jingle package (which was used for 88.7 ZIP-FM Nagoya and RRI Pro 2 Indonesia) is used for the jingles.
