In 1992, the NSB Station Operations and Management Board decided that Hokkaido, Akita, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Shizuoka, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Nagasaki and Okinawa stations will remain to be the main stations.

In 1995, SB earned a minority stake in the RG-IZ consortium consisting of owners of neighboring SIN affiliates RG and IZT.

2005-present[]

SB Hamamatsu TV (2005)

In 2005, a financially struggling SB merged with two other SIN affiliates RG and IZT (both part of the namesake RG-IZT consortium). Thus, making SB the sole SIN affiliate for the entire Shizuoka prefecture.
