RKO Kids is an American cable television channel owned by the RKO Family Television Group unit of RKO Networks Group, a division of RKO Media. It airs programming aimed at kids ages 6-12. Many of its original programming are animated series produced by RKO Animation Studios, much of which also airs on the RKO Network programming block RKO KidShow and vice-versa.
On April 3, 2002, RKO Kids launched as a TV channel spin-off of RKO Network's long-running RKO KidShow block. The logo used when the channel launched was designed by 3 Ring Circus, who worked alongside Primal Screen to develop the network's initial on-air branding.
As part of a brandwide rebrand across the divisions of RKO Holdings, RKO Kids would introduce a new logo on July 8, 2009. This logo is modeled after the standard RKO logo format that was rolled out during that time. The logo, alongside the idents that debuted with it, was designed by Boston-based animation studio Soup2Nuts.
