The Press Award is an annual award dedicated to rewarding the biggest highlights of American television and music. It was created in 1958, whose first choice of the best of the year took place in 1960. It is currently presented at the RKO Studios in Los Angeles, California. It is currently produced by the Recording Industry Association of America and the National Association of Broadcasters in association with RKO Television Studios and broadcasted by RKO Network since 1961. Since 2001, it also exists a variant called Internet Award, which is based on the online voting, which all American citizens can vote on RKO.com.
