MiniMini was launched on 20th December 2003 in the UK and Ireland.
On 24th June 2011, MiniMini was rebranded, the idents were changed and switched to 16:9 image format.

On 12th May 2022, CANAL+ UK and Ireland announced that MiniMini is going to be renamed to MiniMini+ and use the full 16:9 image format on 6th August 2022.
