Background: Maldris is a home video company in Grenada. They've also distributed the Beamtec Hyperstation in that region. Despite the fact that the company started in 1984, it didn't get a logo 'till 3 years later.
Logo: A red square is traveling across our screen, & is coming closer until it fills it up entirely. The company name fades in at the middle, & goes up 'till "presents" brakes in in yellow.
FX/SFX: The red square scrolling, the words going up, fading in, & braking in.
Cheesy Factor: It looks very cheesy, & outdated, but this is from a poorer country, so don't expect much. That doesn't excuse the fact that it steals the theme from the 1986 Cinar logo.
Music/Sounds: The 1986 Cinar theme
Music/Sounds variant: In some releases, an original piano tune is used instead.
Availibility: Seen on their VHS tapes
Scare Factor: None
Logo: We see a pink hexagon flying across the screen until it hits a wall. The wall tips, & then falls over the hexagon, thus making a hole on it. The hole is shaped like the hexagon, & we see the hexagon fine. It flys up 'till it fills the screen, & becomes blue. The company name, & presents spin onto the screen in a silver coloring, & in the font from the 1970 PBS P-Head logo.
FX/SFX: The hexagon flying, & filling up the screen. The wall tipping, & falling over. The words spinning. Decent animation this time.
Music/Sounds: A nice sounding bass guitar tune.
Availibility: Seen on their VHS tapes at the time.
Scare Factor: Medium, the wall falling over may scare some.
