Magnet (children's television network)

Magnet is a worldwide free-to-air children's television network owned by X-Y Group.

2001-2005 (block), 2005-present (channel)[]

Magnet was first launched in August 26, 2001 by HBO, X-Y, and Shadow Projects as an afternoon block that initially aired from 5:00pm to 7:00pm daily on HBO Family.

In June 2005, Red Rope merged with Magnet as a television network. At the same time, HBO divested the channel, leading X-Y the full ownership of the channel.
