Playhouse Disney Channel
Little Disney originally launched on 13th June, 2001 as Playhouse Disney Channel. It aired everyday from 4:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., airing shows aired on other Playhouse Disney feeds around the world, including Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie and PB&J Otter. Unusually, however, the channel's first and last two hours of broadcast each night were dedicated towards classic BBC children's programmes from the 1950s and 1960s, such as Andy Pandy, The Flower Pot Men, The Herbs and the Trumptonshire trilogy.
On 7th February, 2005, Playhouse Disney adapted a new logo and look, which was mostly similar to the look adapted by the UK channel two years earlier (albeit without in-vision continuity).
After receiving no makeovers for over eight years, Playhouse Disney rebranded as Disney Junior on 6th May, 2013, almost two years after other countries
On 20th October, 2017, Disney Junior rebranded as Little Disney, and reintroduced classic programmes into its schedule. Although the logo was retained, the channel received a slight graphical update on 23rd March, 2020.
With the launch of Disney+, Little Disney ended its run on 9th August, 2020 at 10:05p.m. Its last programme was an episode of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, followed by all the channel's idents looping for approximately three minutes before the signal cut out.
