Kigis was launched in November 2012 by Marco Berlusconi. It specialized in entertainment, reality and game show properties, and was one of the operators in concept and production of content for TV, operating in different genres, including factual, entertainment, reality, game shows, lifestyle, documentary, talk shows, drama, comedy, and children’s entertainment.
In 2014, Kigis acquired Southern Lights (focused on high-quality, low-budget, long-form fiction series production) and Taly Media (a developer and producer programs for new-generation mass media, including internet, digital TV and mobile), and named them Kigis Fiction and Kigis Digital respectively.
The digital TV production team have moved from Kigis Digital to Kigis shortly after.
