In 2002, RKO Cartoon Zone was replaced with the Disney-programmed Disney's Saturday Block Party, a sister to block to ABC Kids on the Disney-owned ABC and Disney's Animation Weekdays on UPN. Reruns of some other shows and Canadian series along with the runs of new Nelvana shows were also aired during the block (with "Disney's" usually omitted from the logos on the Disney's Saturday Block Party bumpers during those non-Disney shows.)

In 2005, the block was split into segments: "The Zone @ DSBP" (co-programmed by Latikuu Edacra) and "Get the Show on The Road!". Both segments were produced by Buena Vista Productions at Studio Hamburg GmbH in Hamburg, Germany.

RKO Xplosion & The RKO Roadshow

After Disney's contract with RKO expired at the end of 2007, Disney's Saturday Block Party was relaunched as two blocks: the preschool block The RKO Roadshow and the sports-themed block RKO Xplosion. All of the RKO Xplosion shows came from Bohbot Entertainment and Gotaku's libraries.

Nelvana Kids

In 2010, Nelvana Limited took over the block, and relaunched it as Nelvana Kids. All of the programs from RKO Xplosion were dropped upon the relaunch. Among the new shows added to the block were Pelswick and Anatole. Blazing Dragons also returned after having left the lineup in mid-2005. The theme song for the new block was composed by Jacek Fiedorowicz and featured the vocals of Stevie Vallance and Clay Cornelissen.
