This station was purchased by the TC2C Television Stations subsidiary of Cuben Corp from Fox Television Stations on September 7, 2006. It was no longer a Fox O&O station under MyNetworkTV and this station broke the satellite station of KCOP-TV.
2009-2020
In August 18, 2009, KCBR-TV lost the MyNetworkTV station and became a UWN television station from KLAB-TV (UHF channel 19). The affiliate change was happened on the day KCBR-TV's affiliation was swapped at 3:00 am Pacific Time. On that same day, KLAB-TV lost TheCuben2006 Channel affiliation and became an independent station.
