In 1988, after 23 years as a top 40 outlet, KCER-AM switched to Country along with a new logo.

In 2012, after 52 years as a general-interest radio station, KCER-AM officially becomes Radio Fimbles 820 offering fun with the Fimbles and the Roly Mo Show 24 hours a day, along with new jingles from TM Studios.
On January 30, 2019, KWAB-AM, KWAB-FM and KCER-FM merged into KCER-AM to form KQRB (Qualis Radio Benton). The station became commercial, took over KWAB-AM's airwaves and it stopped broadcasting from 820 KhZ.
