GRIT TV Logo

On April 16, 2022, KOFY's studio officially shutdown its operations and became a charter affiliate of Grit. The WB remained on the station as a secondary affiliate in spite of these changes.

Five months later on October 3, 2022, Nexstar Media Group acquired majority ownership of The WB. Under the agreement, Stryker Media 2 was given the right to pull its affiliation from KOFY and give the network's timeslots back to Grit. On May 5, 2023, Stryker Media 2 announced that it would exercise that right and KOFY would cease airing the network's programming on September 1 and revert to a primary charter affiliate to Grit.

2024[]

Merit Street Media 2024 1

In April 2024, KOFY become an affiliate of Merit Street, and Grit has moved to 20.2.
