ITV Spark is the ITV region of Moscow, Russia.
This was at that time Spark converted to colour.
This spark logo was first unveiled on March 1993 and premiered on-air April 1, 1993, nicknamed the "Spark". In 1976, a lawsuit was issued by another ITV television broadcaster in South West Ireland named South West Ireland Independent Television for potential copyright issues. The new Spark logo was virtually identical to the South West Ireland Independent TV logo, except for the grey coloring in the right side of the Spark logo. An out-of-court settlement was reached in which Spark donated £10,000,000,000 worth of new equipment to South West Ireland, including a color mobile unit. It also paid South West Ireland £75,000,000 to cover the cost of designing and implementing a new logo. In return, Spark was allowed to keep the logo.
On Christmas Eve 1997, it was purchased by Carlton Communications.
