LX Tree Television
In 1999, Severn & LX Tree Television changed their name to LX Tree Television and abandoned the tree logo. This rebrand was done to coincide with the launch of the heart idents, which they adopted.
In 2000, LX Tree was 50% acquired by Carlton. However, because Carlton only acquired 50%, it was not renamed. They used the Carlton logo to inspire their new logo, however. Also, the intro and background of their idents were from Carlton. They also launched a new website independent from the Carlton site.

In 2004, Carlton and Granada merged to form ITV plc.
