Independent Movie Channel[]
1962 (pre-launch)[]
It was originally meant to be launched as second channel of Independent Movie Network. Due to a lawsuit years earlier, the plan was scrapped until it was picked up by a different company named Limited Inc.
1966-1969[]
IMC was launched to replace IMN. which was a success and IMN shut down in 1969.
1969-1976[]
Due to the success of the channel, it was launched internationally. It initially rolled out in countries like Japan and France, then it rolled out in island countries, like El Kadsre.
1976-1980[]
In 1976, IMC began to buy out stations, and by 1977, 26 stations had joined IMC.
Independent Marketing Channel[]
1980-2000[]
Due to the 1980 rebrand of IMC, the acronym was changed to Independent Marketing Channel (IMC). Visopsys TV stations, mainly KOJ-DT1 in Oklahoma City, WRJ in Panama City, and former WIZ-TV in Tallahassee joined IMC.
2000-2016[]
12 stations that belonged to IMC left around the time this logo was being used. WYSR left IMC in 2006 to join UWN.
2016-2020[]
IMC rebranded in 2016, featuring a different font. It was used until 2020 when the text was removed. 9 former IMC-affiliated stations rejoined during this time. In 2019, WIZ-TV left IMC to join NY Alliance.
2020-2024[]
The new logo debuted in summer 2020. Two further television stations that were formerly affiliated with IMC rejoined the network.
2024-present[]
In January 2024, IMC rebranded with a new logo courtesy of TOT-Edgar Arts & Designs. The colors were stripped down to just three, and pink replaced black to represent the varying affiliated networks that some of IMC's affiliates switched to before joining back. It was purchased by TOTGroup in early January 2024.
