Background: Heinz 58 Productions is a vanity card founded by The Simons creator Michael Sullivan. This was first used in The Watermans. The logo makes no sense with the shows.

1st Logo (2005-13)

Logo: We see a police officer with black hair standing in front of what appears to be an animation studio. The man then waves and gives a thumbs up while saying "Bye, have a great time!" in a heavy foreign accent. The words "HEINZ 58 PRODUCTIONS" are shown below.

Variants: Depending on the episode, the man may say a different line.

  • "Bye, have a beautiful time!"
  • "Bye, have a great time!"
  • "Bye-bye, see you soon!"
  • "Have a great night!" (he simply gives a thumbs up in this variant).

Trivia: The man in the video is Security Officer Peña, a Venezuelan immigrant who was a security guard at the studio where Family Guy and American Dad! was produced. If you look carefully, you can see that Peña is wearing a necktie with a leopard print on it, most likely a reference to Seth MacFarlane's other production company, Fuzzy Door Productions.

FX/SFX: It's all live-action.

Music/Sounds: Just the man's voice.

Availability: Seen on The Watermans and some episodes of The Simons.

Scare Factor: None, this a humorous logo.

2nd Logo (2013-present)

Nicknames: "Heinz Down", "Watch where you're fallin', Heinz 58!"

Logo: On a steak dinner, on a dinner table, we see a bottle of Heinz 58 fallin on the table and then rolling. In front of the bottle is the words, "A Heinz 58 Production".

FX/SFX: Heinz 58 falling on the table and rolling on it.

Music/Sounds: The clanging and rolling sound effects. On other shows, it's the closing theme of the show accompanied by clanging and rolling sound effects, or just the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on The Simons and The King of Fighters.

Scare Factor: None.

3rd Logo ("It's About Time" Variant)

Nicknames: "Heinz 58 in a Box", "Heinz Down II", "You will always be in a 600th video, but not really."

Logo: Same as before, except the video is now in a box. Under it reads "Heinz 58 Productions". Under the large text is the small text, "You will always be in a 600th video, but not really.".

FX/SFX: Same as before.

Music/Sounds: Same as before.

Availability: Only seen on "It's About Time"

Scare Factor: None.

4rd Logo (2013, 2016, 2017-18)

Nickname: "Ciaoie Ciao!"

Logo: On the set of Doof's Daily Dirt, we see Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz waving goodbye and saying "Ciaoie Ciao!" at the same time. The words "Heinz 58 Productions" in the Letter-O-Matic font appears below.

FX/SFX: Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz waving good bye, saying "Ciaoie Ciao!" and leaning.

Music/Sounds: Just Heinz saying "Ciaoie Ciao!"

Availability: Rare. It was only seen on The Simons episode "The Truce Hurts", as well as early episodes of The King of Fighters".

Scare Factor: Low. It may catch you off guard.
