In 1999, RKO Television Group and Organizações Globo (currently Grupo Globo) launched Globo TV America, a local version of TV Globo Internacional. The channel is broadcast in Brazilian Portuguese with optional English and Spanish subtitles. However, some contents can be listened to with an optional English or Spanish dub.
