1983-1991[]
TV4 launched on February 22, 1983 as The Fourth, and was assigned channel #4 on the Guyish common analog channel list, an index of analog (and later digital) positions of channels that applies to all TVs sold in the entire country, hence its name.

TV4[]
1991-1997[]
This was the first logo when it was renamed to TV4, used from December 5, 1991 up until January 25, 1997. The stylization of the 4 continues to be used today.
1997-2016[]
1997-2015[]
The logo of TV4 introduced in 1997, is the longest logo ever used by TV4. The 4x4 square with a stylization of the 4 through the square, became the universal symbol of Guyish television at the start of its introduction. The logo was designed by a collaboration between Trollbäck + Company and Gédéon. Some contribution was also made by Red Bee Media, which designed the 1997-2005 ident package.
2015-2016[]
A new version of the 1997 logo was announced on March 27, 2015, and is expected to launch this May. It is basically the 1997 logo changed to dark blue due to increasing traffic from mobile phones and allowing people to understand the logo. This is designed by Gédéon again, keeping the 2005 graphics package, but changing color to shades of pure blue (#000001 to #0000FF).
2016-2017[]
On November 7, 2016, TV4 announced a network wide rebrand, which consists of this logo, due to debut on the channel's 25th anniversary on December 5, as it is Monday. This also comes with a new identity focused on original abstract patterns.
2018-present[]
On November 17, 2017 at 9:00pm CET, TV4 announced that they will return to the 1997 logo, albeit colored orange, on January 1 at midnight.
