TimeWarner originally planned the channel's name to be CityVision, but however, this name was rejected by TimeWarner fans.
Miami[]
1998-2002[]
In 1998, TimeWarner approached USA Broadcasting with naming the new channel "Miami", they accepted. Miami launched on June 8, 1998 alongside the rebrand of channel 69 in Miami and the launch of Cartoon Network Neverland. In 2000, Miami broadcasted a rerun of the premiere of Homestar Runner, an indie Flash animated series, it became the first network to air Homestar Runner.
2002-2013[]
On January 14, 2002, the channel gained a rebrand following WAMI-TV's transition into a Telefutura (now UniMas) affilate.
