KTXL launched as KCCC, Sacramento's First TV station. The channels NBC, ABC, and CBS got there own stations causing this station to fall in obscurity.
KVUE[]
1959-1960[]
KVUE launched replacing KCCC. It's was still unsuccessful and the station shutdown after 1 year.
KTXL[]
1968-1979[]
Metromedia decided to create there own channel 40 as a sister channel to KTTV in Los Angeles. It was successful.
1979-1986[]
KTXL rebranded to this logo. This is also the final KTXL logo before the Fox era.
1986-1990[]
Metromedia was renamed to Fox Television Stations and became a Fox O&O station.
1990-1993[]
KTXL rebrand it's logo. This is also the first logo to have the Fox logo with it.
1993-1997[]
1997-2002[]
KTXL decided to change their logo to reflect their new era.
2002-2006[]
KTXL kept the 40's font from 1993 until 2006 where it reflect it's sisters by using the generic logo.
2006-present[]
KTXL used the generic Fox O&O design and channel the change the channel number font.
