KDKA-TV CBS 13 is owned and operated by the CBS News and Stations Division. It serves Ventura Bay & Starlight Shores, California.

This logo continued to be used until June 1973 after LIN Broadcasting's acquisition of the station from Group W back in February of 1973

Sometime in 1982, Gray Television acquired KDKA-TV from LIN Broadcasting due to said station having overlapping city-grade signals with KBVW in Bayview (also owned by LIN). FCC laws at the time prohibited the common ownership of stations with overlapping city-grade signals.

This logo is identical to the 1980 logo, but with the ABC logo being replaced with CBS' logo to reflect their affiliation change in 1987
