KDKA-TV CBS 13 is owned and operated by the CBS News and Stations Division. It serves Ventura Bay & Starlight Shores, California.

1966-1973[]

This logo continued to be used until June 1973 after LIN Broadcasting's acquisition of the station from Group W back in February of 1973

1973-1980[]

1973-1977[]

The logo was changed to remove any traces of the station's Group W ownership

1977-1980[]

The 1973 logo got a significant facelift in 1977.

1980-1992[]

1980-1987[]

Sometime in 1982, Gray Television acquired KDKA-TV from LIN Broadcasting due to said station having overlapping city-grade signals with KBVW in Bayview (also owned by LIN). FCC laws at the time prohibited the common ownership of stations with overlapping city-grade signals.

1987-1992[]

This logo is identical to the 1980 logo, but with the ABC logo being replaced with CBS' logo to reflect their affiliation change in 1987

This logo would de-emphasize the CBS branding from primary use

1996-2003[]

1996-2001[]

2001-2003[]

This logo was used less than a year after CBS acquired KDKA-TV from Hearst-Argyle Television in 2000. This logo would last less than 2 years

2003-present[]

2003-2011[]

A new logo was created that ditched the Bank Gothic Font and the 1996 "13".

2011-present[]

A border, background, and call-sign was added to the 2003 logo
