1966-2017[]

Designer:  Paul Rand
Typography:  On-air:
Helvetica (1966-1982)
Palatino Linotype (1982-1993)
Eurostile (1994-1998)
Launched:  April 21, 1966

Feral launched its most iconic logo, designed by Paul Rand, who also created future sister network ABC's logo, on April 21, 1966. It depicts the letter "F" shaped like the head of the network's eponymous mascot, hence its nickname the "F-Head."

Due to its unusual shape, the logo was often misinterpreted as a stylized letter "T" or resembling the head of a bull.

On January 1, 1994, as the mascot Feral's appearances in comics and TV shows skyrocket to popularity, the network was renamed "Feral TV" to avoid confusion with said character.

A brand new logo, which is based on Rand's original design, was launched on October 14, 2017 in a promo for the third season of Going Grey. The famous F-Head was redrawn to better resemble the letter F, courtesy of Landor. The logo soon appeared in a new on-air rebrand by Troika Design Group on November 8 and on social media on December 1.

Teal became the main color used in the graphics package, although other colors are also used in some bumpers.
