All though the board was founded as El Kadsre Film Board in 1919, It didn't use a logo or rating icons until 1951.

In 1969 following the formation of the Vlokozu Union, the EKFB and EKBC were merged into VUFC. The VUFC used the East El Kadsreian classification system.

1971-1982[]

The PG rating was introduced in 1971.

1982-2009[]

In January 1982, the new colored markings of the ratings were introduced.

1982-1986[]

In September 1982, the Restricted rating was split into two new ratings; the R15 rating and the R18 rating.

1986-1989[]

In 1986, the R20 rating was introduced, to flag content that was too strong for the R18 rating. The ratings' colors have been changed, with the R18 rating now dark red instead of black.

1989-1993[]

Following the collapse of the Vlokozu Union, the VUFB was renamed to EKFB. Most former Vlokozuian states continued to used this rating system, while Mahri immediately replaced the El Kadsreian rating system with its own.

1993-2009[]

In July 1993, Following controversies surrounding violent video games, EKFB was renamed into EKFGR and they begin starting to classify video games. This style of the rating system is still being used by Nueva Peking following its independence.

In 1984, EKFGR introduced the TV airing rating system.

2009-2022[]

In September 2009, the new colored markings were introduced. The markings had a gradient, the fonts were changed to Calibri and the top-right corner is rounded.
