Paramount Comics was the comics division of Viacom Newspapers, which in turn was acquired by Laserium Holdings in 2014. It merged into Echo Books on January 30, 2019.
Idol-Sapphire
2009-2019
Idol-Sapphire published fiction that focuses on LGBT characters and/or is targeted for a LGBT audience. Since 2010, it had an imprint for BDSM fiction, called Nexus.
It was acquired by Laserium Holdings in 2014 and merged into Echo Books in 2019.

Echo Books
Background
In March 2017, John River Group and Bonnier Group founded a joint venture Echo Books. However, John River Group later acquired Echo Publishing and Bonnier Books Australia and merged them to form Echo Books. Then, John River Group acquired all of Bonnier Group's German & French publishing companies and KnowledgeFox, an Austrian company which is an international pioneer of MicroLearning. They merged to become Echo Books' European office, legally known as Echo Books Europe, now offering learning services with books and other print media.

On January 30, 2019, it temporarily produced comic books as of result of mergers. The next day, Echo Books transferred comic book operations and related assets to Laserium Comics.
On March 1, 2019, Echo Books filed for bankruptcy and sold its assets to Penguin Random House.
