Background: Dead Mouse Productions was an Indian film company founded by a director Gautham Menon in 1975, specializing in horror and crime movies. Gautham Menon is credited with pioneering the horror and crime film industry in India with this company. It did not use a logo until 1983. (1983-)

Nicknames: "R.I.P. Mickey Mouse", "Hey! What's That Image?", "Why I Never Watched Daraavana Boleevud Moovee", "Mickey Is Dead And That's Why I Didn't Watch Daraavana Boleevud Moovee", "Oswald Seeing Mickey Dead", "What?! Mickey Is Dead?!", "Worse Than Manish Films, Murghan Enterprise, Balakrishna Movies and also... Ramsay Films Combined", "Dead Mouse from Hell", "Crying Oswald of Hysterical Proportions"

Logo: On a grey background, we see a still image of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit seeing Mickey Mouse dead while crying. The image stands still while the man is singing a religious hymn. The name of the company doesn’t appear.

FX/SFX: Only the image fading in and out.

Music/Sounds: A weird Indian theme with sitar,a man singing.

Availability: Rare, bordering on common. Found on some horror and crime movies. One example is a Hindi horror movie Daraavana Boleevud Moovee.

Editor’s Note: The logo is horrific. The still image of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit seeing Mickey Mouse dead (while he isn’t, he’s been around for over 90 years) while crying and the weird theme are bound to scare many people, this logo is very appropriate considering the genre of films this company specializes in, and is possibly one of the scariest Indian logos of all time.
