Central 1 is a Sakarian commercial television channel. It is the flagship general entertainment channel of Central Media. Central One is one of the six main free-to-air channels in Sakaria. Despite its high budget and popular programming, Central is the second lowest rated main free-to-air network, behind TV5, TVO, CBN, and SBS, but ahead of TV4.

Unlike the other main free-to-air commercial television channels such as TV5, TVO and TV4, Central 1 and its sister channels are the only ones to have Sakarian as its primary language.

In 2025, Disney Branded Television sold its stake in StarSKA (the owner of Central) to TRK Media. StarSKA was then merged with Central, making Central the holding company. With this restructuring, Central Media and it's channels will be dropping the 'STAR' brand after 18 years.
