Cartoon Network 1992

Cartoon Network was originally launched in Southeast Gavin as a free-to-air children's channel on 1 October 1994, replacing ZAZ. It was closed down in Southeast Gavin on 31 May 1997, due the successes of two other free-to-air children's channels in Southeast Gavin, Canal J and Nickelodeon. Cartoon Network in Southeast Gavin was then replaced by Magic Kids one day later. On 29 March 1999, Cartoon Network was relaunched in Southeast Gavin as a cable children's channel, replacing The Big Channel.
