Canal+ Violet is launched on August 31, 1998 on CanalSatellite and cable as a complement to Canal+, it is predominantly female.
Canal+ Bachasse[]
2003-2005[]
As part of the creation of the Canal+ Le Bouquet offering, the channel changed its name on November 1, 2003 to Canal+ Bachasse and became the broadcasting offering for culinary programs and the Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the Coupe de la Ligue.
Canal+ RnB[]
2005-2006[]
It changed its name again on March 5, 2005 to Canal+ RnB, this new name designating both the practical function of this channel broadcasting RnB in line with the famous "Canal spirit".
2006-2009[]
Canal+ RnB changes its logo on July 1st 2006 and abandons the "+" of Canal.
2009-2013[]
Canal+ RnB logo adopted on August 20, 2009, abandons the "Canal" brand to keep only the "+", which allows it to assert itself more as a channel offering a real plus compared to the premium channel Canal+.
