CTV, otherwise known as Centralia Television, is a flagship TV channel that broadcasts across Centralia owned by CTV Corporation.

Centralia Television Service (1938)

After test broadcasts, Centralia Television was officially launched as the Centralia Television Service on 30 September 1938, as a joint venture between the government, the BBC, the ABC from America, and the NHK.

Due to the start of World War 2, it was closed on 16 September 1939, few weeks after BBC Television Service's closedown.

Centralia Television Service returned on 28 June 1946. While it used the same idents and logos as the former, it had two periods of time, 9am to 4pm for educational/children's programmes and 7pm to midnight for main programming. Sports also cause the channel to extend its hours too. On the same day, NHK was dropped from the joint venture due to NHK's ban on international broadcasting.

Mayfield's familiar 'sunrise' design was created in the 1950s and was used by Centralia Television in 1960. Mayfield, while creating the symbol, stated that "the sunrise represents the 'morning' and the 'evening' where Centralia Television expands its hours when it starts at six in the morning, and it utilizes the way it transmitted."
